Fully bespoke kitchens

This summer has been a busy time for me, mostly spent making kitchens.  Painted finishes are very popular at the moment but still involve the same carefully fitted joinery as a natural wood finish.

The kitchens I make are fully bespoke.  Some companies may claim to be bespoke, or offer a "custom" design service but most of these are still mass produced in a factory environment.  As I have no desire to make exactly the same kitchen again and again, I make the cabinets to the size and designs unique to the customer.

The result is a beautiful and very personal kitchen.

June update

Some sizeable projects have now been completed, and more commissions are coming in regularly.  The order book is filling, with a current lead time of about 8 weeks for delivery.

Please note that although I will be available for calls and emails, the workshop will be closed for two weeks around the period 30/06/2010.  The actual dates may vary depending on our anticipated new arrival!

Things have been really busy the last few months, certainly a good sign!

Stock items gallery added

I've been working on some stock items, little things that let me use up some of the many ideas littering my sketchbook as well as small pieces of timber that are just too good to throw out.  Most are made in small batches when I can, from whatever I have handy at the time.  All of the various items are available to purchase now, and will also be on sale at craft shows later in the year

Photos of a couple of recent pieces are now online.  Gallery titles and descriptions have been updated.
